Pinole Historical Society exhibit at the Pinole Library honoring local military veterans

The new Pinole Historical Society exhibit at the Pinole Library honoring local military veterans - including a special display about the history of U.S. military wars dogs - has been getting a lot of attention. In addition to a lot of foot traffic at the library, Pinole Patch, the new on-line news service covering Pinole (http://pinolepatch.com) will be featuring a story with photos soon. The exhibit highlights former Pinole Mayor Tom Cutino, longtime Pinole resident Stan Clark (both members of Pinole Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2798), and Jim Ross, father of Pinole's Kathy Bradshaw. The PHS thanks Kathy Bradshaw, Stan Clark, Tom Cutino, Shirley Ramos, and Gail Snyder (United States War Dogs Association), for providing memorabilia for this exhibit. Library hours are Monday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Wednesday (2 to 8 p.m.), Friday (Noon to 5 p.m.), and Saturday (Noon to 5 p.m.). The exhibit will run through the end of January.
