Handler Aid Requests

For all MWD Handlers in need of items and wanting to place a request for aid from The United States War Dogs Association Inc. Chapter 1 Western Region, please be aware of the following:

We will provide mission-critical MWD equipment (eg. vest, collars, leads, boots and goggles), medical supplies and necessary canine care and comfort items.

For requests specific to handlers, we will provide reasonable care and comfort items as the budget allows. As we are supporting many teams, we unfortunately cannot provide such things as handler uniforms, vitamins or supplements, electronics or any luxury items. Any high value items deemed necessary will be decided on a case-by-case basis and will not be used as precedent for any other similar requests.

Much as we would like to fulfill every request made, our budget dictates that we must set limits on what we can provide in order to provide maximum benefit to all teams.

Please be advised that due to budget constraints we can only provide assistance to active duty military handlers and their working dogs. We CANNOT provide assistance to civilian contractors.
